By accessing or using EventSeating (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including event organisers and their guests.
EventSeating is a platform for managing event guest lists, seating arrangements, RSVPs, invitations, and related event communications. The Service is operated by Daanish Ali (“Operator”).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account, use the Service for unlawful purposes, or attempt to circumvent any security measures. Notify us immediately at support@eventseating.events if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are the data controller for any personal data (names, email addresses, phone numbers, dietary information) you enter about your guests. You are solely responsible for:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
Paid features are available through subscription plans and one-time event credits, billed via Stripe. By purchasing a plan or credit you authorise us to charge your payment method. All amounts are in USD and inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Your payment details are processed securely by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified): we never store your full card details.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or credits for subscription charges, including partial months, unused time, or plan downgrades.
If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us at support@eventseating.events within 7 days of the charge. Nothing in this clause affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then. After cancellation your account reverts to the Free plan. We do not issue refunds for unused days in the final period.
All rights in the EventSeating platform, including its code, design, and trademarks, are owned by the Operator. You retain all rights to the data you upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which the Operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property or data protection matters.
If you are a consumer located in the EEA or UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under such laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
